  • Assistance with day to day activities such as washing and bathing.

  • Assistance with moving and handling such as getting in and out of bed, turning over in bed, changing position, getting in and out of chair, walking, getting in and out of the car.
  • Assistance with grooming, skin care, hair and teeth.
  • Assistance with monitoring pressure sores and pressure relieving areas.

Social Care:


  • Listening and talking to service users, assisting them to keep in touch with their friends and relatives with letter writing, telephone calls etc.
  • Supporting Service users to go out in the community.
  • Assistance with shopping.
  • Assistance with paying bills, pension collection etc.
  • Encouraging active participation - assistance with going day care, swimming, watching films etc.
  • Assistance with going to doctors, hospitals and other appointments.

Domestic Care:


  • Assistance with cleaning and house work .
  • Assistance with laundry and ironing.

Meals and Dietary Care:


  • Assistance with meal and drink preparation.
  • Assistance with feeding.

Night Sits:


  • Assistance with support throughout the night for people who need constant supervision and care.

Sitting Service:


  • Assistance with providing a sitting service four couple of hours during the day allowing the regular carer /family to take a break.

Specialist Tasks:


  • Catheter Care – Emptying,changing leg bag and monitoring output.
  • Adminstration of medication, ear drops and eye drops.
  • Stoma Care.
